Once again, as part of Kings’ Place 2016 Minimalism Festival, Endymion will be joining forces with EXAUDI for a concert celebrating the music of Arvo Part called Music for Meditation.
To whet your appetite, here is a recording of Endymion performing Summa at the Purcell Room back in 2011 where the Guardian described the concert as:
“…impressive performances of various works by Arvo Pärt, mostly in meditative and liturgical vein. Particularly good was the Stabat Mater, a deeply felt setting that for my money outstrips the great versions by Pergolesi and Vivaldi.“
